A historic 18th-century family palace, from which we have inherited, preserved, and renovated a small portion. The accommodation that will welcome you is a single, completely independent 35-square-meter space, featuring a splendid ribbed vault and furnished with all modern comforts. From here, you can access a panoramic terrace with a spectacular view of the Sassi, enchanting you with its shimmering colors from sunrise to sunset. Our accommodation can accommodate from two people to a family of four.
"Affaccio nei Sassi" is located in the Sasso Barisano district. From Piazza Sedile, you can access it by going down the steps of Sant'Antonio, following the tourist trail on the left. You'll find us 50 meters away at number 2, Via Sette Dolori.
Located 200 meters from Piazza Cattedrale, 200 meters from Piazza Vittorio Veneto, 300 meters from the Via Lucana parking lot, and 500 meters from Matera Central Station.
By car, you can reach us more easily from the A14 Adriatica motorway, exiting at Bari Nord towards Altamura, and reaching Matera via the wide, fast, and direct four-lane State Road 99.
The nearest airport, Carol Wojtyla Airport, recently connected with shuttles to Matera, and the nearest train station are in Bari, 60 km from Matera.
